Barry M Confetti Nail Paint

It's not a secret that I love Barry M nail varnish, it's a great brand with tons of different colours and types of nail paints. I would say that about 70% of my nail varnishes are Barry M. I had heard about the Barry M Confetti Nail Paint but had yet to try it out, so I decided to guy and buy one shade to judge if it was any good. I choose the black and white shade, as I thought that I would use the Confetti Nail Paint as a top coat to my Rimmel 60 seconds nail varnish. It turned out amazing and I love it. It is awesome and gives an effect to your nails without having to try and draw it on yourself. You can also just use the Confetti nail paint on it's own but I thought it looked better as a top coat. I applied two layers of Rimmel black nail varnish and then two layers of Barry M Confetti nail paint (Liquorice shade).

Barry M Confetti Nail Paint comes in 5 different shades: Dolly Mixture (gold), Liquorice (black and white), Marshmallow (light coral colour/pink), Bubble-gum (blue) and Sour Apple (green).

Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick - Kiss of Life

I have wanted to get a red lipstick for quite a while now and I decided to try to find a red in Rimmel's Kate Moss lipstick collection. There were two reds that I liked, a bright one and a darker red. I ended up buying the darker red lipstick as I thought it would suite my complexion better.

I absolutely love the Kiss of Life (111) shade of Rimmel's Kate Moss Matte Lipstick and am very happy with it. I think the darkness of the shade makes my eyes look very blue and looks better than the bright red would have been with my very pale skin. It also stays on for quite a while and does not fade out quickly like some other lipsticks do.

I think the Kate Moss range for Rimmel is fantastic and I like how there is a good variety of different colour lipsticks to try to suit everyone.

Accessorize Nail Varnish

For Christmas, I received a Accessorize Nail wardrobe as a present and I absolutely love it. It consists of nine nail varnishes, of which 3 are glitter and the other 6 are a variation of different colours of pink. I love the set and all of the colours in it, there is a blue and a blue glitter, two other pink glitters and five pinks ranging from light pink to red.

I started off doing my nails, by doing two coats of light pink. What I love about the pale pink colour is that it will go with anything. It is an elegant and casual colour that I can wear with any outfit. I wanted to add some sparkle to my nails, so I added one of the glitter nails varnishes.

I choose to use the red/silver glitter nail varnish instead of the bright pink glitter one, as I wanted to keep the pale pink and the brighter pink glitter one made the pale pink brighter. You could easily use the glitter by itself but personally I think it looks better with a background colour.

The end result is really good and pretty. I think the combination of red/silver glitter goes well with the pale pink. I love the Accessorize Nail wardrobe set, especially the glitter nail polishes. It is available from Superdrug for £9.99.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter

Palmer's Cocoa Butter is enriched with Vitamin E, is an advanced moisturiser that softens, smoothes and relieves dry skin. Also helps smooth and blend unattractive marks and scars. An excellent after tanning butter.

I got Palmer's Cocoa Butter in a gift bag from a Cosmopolitan master class I attended a while ago and fell in love with it instantly. It smells heavenly and is absolutely divine. I cannot believe that I had not heard about it before, it is amazing. What I love most about it is how great it smells, it smells almost edible and I love how soft it leaves my skin.

I have tried many body butters and creams in the past couple of years, but only a couple have actually been good. Palmer's Cocoa Butter, Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream and Body Shop body butters are my favourite skin care products. One of the things I look for in a skin care product or body butter is that it has good reviews and smells good, I cannot stand body butters which have an awful fragrance. I would recommend Palmer's Cocoa Butter to anyone that wants a skin care product that actually works, it softens dry skin and leaves your skin with a nice smell.

Egyptian Style Jewellery

For my Summer Ball, my friends and I decided to go as Egyptians. So yesterday (Thursday 6th June), I went hunting through loads of shops to find the right accessories which would go with my outfit. My Summer Ball is tomorrow (Saturday 8th June), so my shopping was very last minute. I found quite a lot of Egyptian style jewellery and had a hard time deciding what to buy.

My 3 Way Head Wrap is from Claire's and I love it. I personally think it is quite an Egyptian look and will look good with straightened hair. It only costs £4.50 which isn't too bad. I know I have not gone for traditional Egyptian accessories which are for example from a fancy dress shop but I wanted to be able to re-use what I have bought.

My bracelet is from New Look. They had so many good ones but two really stood out, the one pictured above and another one which has crosses on it. They are both a light gold colour which goes with my accessories, so I am very happy.

Choosing a necklace was the hardest accessory that I had to choose. The necklace had to match the colour of my headband and the bracelet. The first necklace I liked was more of a Greek style, so that option was out. The second necklace was a darker gold and turquoise, it did not suit my other jewellery so that one was out too. Finally, the third one I liked is the one I bought. The colour went with everything and I would definitely re-use it. I got it from Primark and it cost just £5.

The nail varnish I have on in the picture is a glitter gold Barry M one. I decided on gold nail polish as when I think of Egyptian style jewellery or make up, I automatically think gold or turquoise. I could have gone for just a gold colour but being the glitter fanatic that I am, I obviously went for the gold glitter option. It is available from Superdrug for £2.99.
