Body Shop body butter

Everyone loves soft skin and one of my favourite products to help with that is Body Shop's body butters. They are absolutely fantastic and Body Shop have so many different scents to cater to everyone's preferences. They have almond, passion fruit, cocoa butter, blueberry, coconut, shea, moringa, raspberry, Satsuma, chocomania, strawberry, aloe, vineyard peach, pink grapefruit, honeymania and many more. My own personal favourites are mango and papaya, they smell absolutely divine and are perfect for summer. :)

What I also love about Body Shop is that they come out with Christmas body butters, last year it was ginger sparkle, vanilla bliss and cranberry joy. I love their body butters and they make my skin feel so soft and it really does help with dryness.

No7 Lovely Lashes Mascara

It's always a bit of a hit or miss when choosing a mascara, some turn out to be amazing and others disappointing. I always try a different mascara, I don't think I have ever bought the same mascara more than twice. I had never tried a No7 mascara before so I decided to go for it, I choose Lovely Lashes as the last time I went to boots, one of the sales assistants was raving about it and the fact that it had argan oil in it. The argan oil is meant to help nourish your lashes, all the hair products with argan oil in them I have loved so I thought why not try a mascara with it in it.

The sales assistant in Boots was definitely right to rave about this product, it's great and I love the brush!! It's not clumpy and I don't have to use a second brush to separate my lashes. There are two different shades: black and brown/black. The one I have is the brown/black one and I love it! It is one of the best mascara's I have tried, along with Benefit's and Maybelline's. The end result is great and I love how my lashes look! :)

Miss Selfridge must haves

Miss Selfridge is one of my favourite shops, I love their clothes and style. I always manage to find something in there, even when I'm just browsing, much to the dismay of my bank account. :)

I have been eyeing this Yellow Boucle Coatigan for ages and am literally in love with it, the only thing standing between it finding its way into my wardrobe is the price. I'm waiting until I get a summer job to be able to finally have it. I decided to pair it with a simple black dress and it's a perfect combo! I love the outcome the 'coatigan' and the 90s Mini Dress are a perfect match. :) The black dress would be great for a night out or if paired with something more casual good for the day also!

This Floral Spliced Print Maxi dress is another must have, it is gorgeous! I'm loving the maxi dress trend at the moment and the sunny weather is absolutely perfect for it. I love that the dress is colourful and it's just so pretty!! :)

Argan oil hair products

I love hair products with argan oil in them and an increasing amount of hair companies are putting them in their products, so it must not just be me. They are one of the best products I have tried to make my hair softer and shinier.

L'Oreal Elvive Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Shampoo and L'Oreal Elvive Smooth Intense Conditioner both contain argan oil in them. They are awesome and my hair feels so smooth and soft afterwards. This has to be one of the best shampoo and conditioners' I have tried.

There is also a L'Oreal Elvive Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Serum which goes along with the shampoo and conditioner, which adds a finishing soft touch. It smooth's out frizz along the entire length of the hair, with its anti-frizz and anti-volume actions Elvive smooth intense provides a long lasting intense provides a long lasting smooth result that resists humidity. This helps to prevent frizz, waves or volume to return during the day.

Another good shampoo is Avon's Advance Techniques 360 Nourishment Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo. It leaves hair feeling smoother, stronger and more manageable. And another bonus is that it is cheap and on average costs just £2.80. It's the second best shampoo which contains argan oil that I have tried! :)

Finally the last product I have which has argan oil in it, is got2b Oil-Licious Dry Oil Mist. Once applied you will see and instant shine and it will feel softer straight away.

Wedding outfit

A couple of weeks ago, I went to a wedding, the first I have been since I was 4-years-old. So I wasn't quite sure what to wear to begin with, I wanted something comfy and a little bit dressy but not too fancy. My family and I were invited to the whole wedding, so I wanted something that would be slightly warmer and longer, either a midi or maxi dress.

I have never bought a maxi dress before because I'm quite short (5ft3) and also because whenever I have tried one on before they dragged on the ground. So I thought this would be the perfect occasion to try a maxi dress as I could wear my wedges with the dress.

I was hunting round all the shops and was starting to give up because I couldn't find the sort of dress I was looking for and didn't really want to order one online, then I went in River Island and found my dress. I loved it as soon as I saw it and it was also so comfy!! :) I didn't need to get new shoes, as my Topshop wedges went perfectly with the dress, as did my New Look bag. The kimono is from New Look, it's no longer available but here is a similar one that is roughly the same price too.

As for my hair, I straightened my fringe and then decided to use my Enrapture amplify jumbo waver to create beachy waves. My Enrapture waver is literally the best thing ever, it makes my hair seem thicker than it is and it creates amazing waves. They get hot really quickly so don't put it on your bed or carpet, I leant it to my housemate and lets just say it burnt the mattress and left a little hole...

It was a lovely wedding, in a beautiful area and the bride looked stunning. Her dress was absolutely beautiful, simple, yet so elegant.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Plucker gloss sticks

Last Christmas (2013), my housemate got me a special box set featuring three of the amazing Sexy Mother Plucker gloss sticks. It was apart of their Christmas seasonal products and I absolutely love them, it was one of my favourite gifts. I use them all the time and they are literally one of the best lip products I have ever tried!

The 'Nudist' shade is the one I use the most, as you can probably see it's a little bit worn out. :) It's a nice light shade, that give my lips a tint of colour and I wear it all the time, it never leaves my handbag! It goes with everything I wear and if you want something simple, this is perfect for you.

'Fuchsia-Ristic' is a nice pink shade and is suitable for day or night. The gloss stick colour itself, looks like it is going to be a very bright pink but when on it's not that bright.

Last but not least, 'Plum Jam' gloss stick is my third shade in the box set. However, there are two other shades 'Bashfull' and 'Raplumsel' which were not in my set. This shade is quite dark so I only use it for going out or clubbing, it has more of a night feeling.

I absolutely love the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Plucker gloss sticks, they are fantastic and they smell amazing. I really hope Soap & Glory bring out some more shades because they are really awesome!! :)

OOTD: Summer feeling

Recently most of my tops have been coming from Miss Selfridge and this is one of my new ones. I literally love it, it can go with anything or even over anything. It has a nice summery feeling and I love the back, I have been looking for a split back top for ages and was so happy when I finally found one. I have had my black disco pants for over a year and they are so comfy, plus they can be used for day time or going out clubbing. I think the sandals add a nice final summer touch to my outfit and gives it a little bit of a grunge look.

My outfit:

  • Miss Selfridge Tile Burnout Top: £20.00

  • Missguided frenchy shiny disco leggings: £7.99

  • River Island Black chunky strap cleated sole sandals: £38.00
