October wish list

Autumn is fast approaching and to be honest I don't know where September has gone, time is going so fast! I love that it is now acceptable to wear jumpers and I cannot wait to wear my new winter coat soon!! :) I have found a couple of good items for the cold weather. I really hope we get some snow this year, I was a bit disappointed when we didn't get any last year.

NYX The 'It' List - Natural Lip Glosses

NYX has been on my to try list for a while now but have only found it available recently! The only places I have found it is on the official NYX website, Very and Amazon. After browsing through their lip products for a while I found two 'It List' sets one of natural shades and the other pink! I like both but I think the natural shades would be a better colour for autumn. The set costs £22 which I think is a reasonable price especially since there are 5 lip glosses included. :)

Miss Selfridge Dark Authentic Rip Knee Jean

At the beginning of the Summer, I tried on some rip knee jeans but wasn't sure if I liked them, I regretted not buying them shortly after. When I went back to buy them, they no longer had any size 8's. :( I really like this pair and I prefer darker jeans, rather than lighter ones. A good pair of jeans normally costs around 30 pounds, so I personally think that £38 is a good deal.

Miss Selfridge Pink Birdcage Make up Bag

I really want a new makeup bag as my old one is starting to wear a little bit and this is so cute. I love the colour and the birds on the bag! It is definitely worth £13. Miss Selfridge has such pretty products, their bags and makeup bags are beautiful.

Topshop Ribbed Grunge Sweater

I got a Topshop jumper last year and it is the warmest jumper ever, it is also really comfy. I definitely want another jumper from there and I like the look of this one. It is simple and will go with all outfits. I think that it is a good price at £36 and of a good quality.

Accessorize Cable Knit Boots

I haven't had a good pair of slippers in ages and really want a comfy and fluffy pair. I saw these on Accessorizes website and they look really furry and nice! I know white slippers would probably get dirtier quicker but still they look cute. £19 is a bit more than I would like to pay for slippers but they are still on my wish list.

Zoella beauty products

Ever since Zoe Sugg (or more widely known as Zoella) announced that she would be doing a beauty range, I have been eager to see what would be in her range. Her beauty products consist of Creamy Madly Dreamy - Body Lotion, Blissful Mistful - body spritz, Let's Glow candle, two different beauty bags, fizz bar and Soak Opera - Bath Soak/Shower Cream. All the products look so cute and I love the packaging! I want to get all of the products and will probably go to Superdrug to buy them sometime this week.

So what is on your October wish lists?

Work experience tips

I have had to do six weeks work experience as a requirement as apart of my course and have learnt a lot from my time spent at multiple places. I loved working in different parts of the journalism industry! I have done work experience at Bang Showbiz, Star magazine, Spirit FM and Hope FM. I had a wonderful time at all of them and learnt a lot from the journalists working there, I also got quite a bit of feedback and advice.

If you are at university and have to do a placement year or work experience as a part of your course then I am sure you will have had a lecture with some tips. I swear I have had at least 3 or 4 lectures on how to find work experience, what to say in your CV/cover letter and how to stand out. So I thought why not do a short post on what I have learnt from doing work experience. :)

My advice for getting a placement:

  • Always send a CV and a Cover Letter

  • Keep persevering to get them to respond to you, people are very busy and might forget to reply

  • If they don't answer after a month send them another email or call them up

  • Say what you like about that organisation

  • Apply to a variety of places, even if you don't particularly want to go somewhere apply anyway to get some experience under your belt
Tips for when you are at work experience:

  • Be confident

  • Be interested in the work, even though it may not be overly interesting

  • Be polite and attentive

  • Don't be afraid to speak up if you have ideas

  • Be motivated

  • Talk to those who work there, ask about their path to how they got the job and ask for any tips they have

Do you have any tips for work experience?

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Collection Privée

I love L'Oreal Paris and their products are so elegantly presented and the packaging is quite posh. I have always found L'Oreal to be sophisticated. Which is why they have such respectful and admirable models and actresses representing the lipsticks in the nude and pure red collection. Doutzen Kroes, Julianne Moore, Freida Pinto, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez, Cheryl Cole, Liya and Blake Lively are all amazing women and role models.

I bought two L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Collection Privée lipsticks, Doutzen Kroes Barely Pink and Julianne Moore Barely Peach. I also really want to get Eva Longoria Barely Golden and JLo/Cheryl Cole Barely Greige, both shades look awesome!! The Barely Greige shade seems to be by JLo on most sites but on the official L'Oreal website, it is Cheryl's name on the lipstick.

I went for Doutzen Kroes Barely Pink as I love the colour and the hint of pink that it adds to my lips. It is an elegant and feminine shade, but not too pink that it stands out. The light pink can be used for a nice lunch out with your friends or cocktails in the evening! It's a classy lipstick and I cannot wait to try it out with a black dress to make the pink pop.

Julianne Moore Barely Peach is a lovely peach shade, that adds a darker natural colour to my face. I think that it also makes the blueness of my eyes stand out a bit more and it goes well with my pale skin tone. My lips look fuller and softer, with an extra shine to them.

All of the nude shades from L'Oreal are stunning and there is such a variety for new colours. The range consists of pink, peach, golden and moka. Each different lipstick enhances features to go with your skin tone and adds natural colour to you lips. There is actually a good deal on at Superdrug at the moment, you can buy the lipsticks for £6.99 whilst in Boots it currently costs £8.19.

I would definitely buy more of the nude collection and want to buy Blake Lively's Pure Red lipstick. Their lip glosses are also very pretty and are on my wish list. :)

Bourjois 1 Seconde Mascara Black Waterproof

Bourjois 1 Seconde Mascara Black Waterproof has been on my makeup wish list for a while now and on a Superdrug haul I finally bought it. I have been using it for over a week now to see how good it is and whether I would buy it again.

The application of the mascara is really easy and the brush helps enhance long lashes. It has a plastic brush, which I prefer as all my favourite mascaras so far have had plastic brushes and makes it easier to separate lashes.

Durability is a key element when it comes to makeup, you don't want to buy a product that doesn't last long or wears easily. I worked 8 hours on Saturday and wore the Bourjois mascara, and it lasted my whole shift.  My eye makeup looked just as good as when I started, whilst my foundation may have wore my lashes were still long and pretty!

Is it worth buying again? The answer is yes, it is a really good mascara and is worth every penny! It costs on average £9.99 and I think that is a good price for a mascara. I would definitely recommend it to a friend and I give it a 5/5.

Olay Beauty Fluid Nourishing Day Fluid

I like to switch up my makeup routine and change the products I use,  recently I wanted to try a new moisturiser. I love Garniers' Moisture Match products and they are the best I have tried so far but wanted to branch out.

My mum has always used Olay, and when we were in Boots a couple of weeks ago she suggested that I try out Olay's moisturiser. I have used Olay makeup remover before and it is really good at getting rid of dirt and impurities.

I have now been using it for a couple of weeks now and it has been alright, it is a good base for putting your makeup on and is a cheap product! It currently costs £4.99 at Boots. It does exactly what it says it does, but I only wish it would help soften my skin a bit more.  I feel a moisturiser should make your skin softer and smoother, this feels like a more matte finish.

I give the product a 3/5, it just is not for me and I probably would not buy it again. I think beauty products work differently on different individuals, so this may work for others, unfortunately it did not really help improve my skin.

Topshop lipsticks

Topshop is one of my favourite shops and with good reason, I love the look of their clothes, bags and makeup. Trying some of Topshop lipsticks has been on my wish list for ages and I finally bought two the other day.

I wanted to try one of their normal lipsticks and also their sheer lips one, so I bought one of each.

I knew what sheer lipstick to buy straight away, I loved the shade Hunky Dory and it is a great colour for autumn. It is a dark nude colour and is perfect for a natural look!! :) I also love all the glitter pigments in it and adds a nice touch to the shade.

I was torn between 3 of Topshops' normal lipsticks and stood there for a good 10 minutes trying to decide which one to go for.I went for Whimsical in the end, it's a bit of a summer shade but oh well it is really pretty. Whimsical is also a matte lipstick, I hadn't tried any matte lip products before and I definitely will be in the future because they are great!

I am very happy with the 2 lipsticks I went with, they are beautiful and can be worn during day or night! I also really like how the lipstick tubes are presented and the sheer one has stars all over it! So pretty.

I already have a list of which Topshop lipsticks I want to buy next, Nevada, Alibi, Saint, Mescaline, Mercurial and Armour. I cannot wait to get my hands on some more Topshop makeup products and want to expand my collection!

Topshop have a good deal on at the moment for lipsticks, it is 2 for £12. Each lipstick costs £8, so I think the deal they have on is a bargain and you save £4. So grab some lipsticks whilst the deal is still one, there is plenty of choice for each different skin tone and it is impossible to not love a few of their lipsticks.

Toni & Guy Glamour Volume Plumping Whip

I got this little gem in the Summer Glamour Beauty Edit box and I'm in love with it! It is an amazing product and I can see why Glamour included it. All you need to do is apply a walnut-sized amount through the roots of towel-dried hair before heat styling.

This is the first Toni & Guy product I have tried and I am very happy with it, I give it a 5/5.

It adds a nice finishing touch to my hair, it gives it volume. It doesn't make it sticky or greasy, as some hair products do which is a bonus. I know some people who tried it had issues with the product but personally I really liked it and would definitely buy it again. The volume plumping whip has a nice smell to it, I can't quite put my finger on what the scent is but I like it! :)

You can find the hair product in Boots for £7.19.

Maybelline The Colossal Waterproof Mascara Go Extreme

I love trying different mascaras, it is one of my favourite beauty products that I like to change and rarely buy the same one twice. There were three mascaras that I really wanted to try and now I have crossed one of my list.  Bourjois and L'Oreal both have a mascara that is on my beauty wish list and I recently got Maybelline The Colossal Waterproof Mascara Go Extreme.

I really liked the look of the brush as it is oversized and looks really bushy, which I think is a plus as you don't have to keep reapplying mascara over lashes as it reaches all of them.

A downside I found is that it does come out a bit clumpy, when I'm applying mascara, at times I have blobs that don't always brush in . It's quite a thick mascara and I sometimes have to brush over my lashes to smooth it in.

I probably wouldn't buy it again as I had to use another mascara with the Maybelline one but it hasn't put me off using Maybelline again. I would give the mascara a 3.5/5, except for the slight clumpy-ness it is a good mascara!

It costs £6.99 from Superdrug at the moment, what I love about Maybelline is that all of their makeup is a reasonable price and does not cost a small fortune!

Maybelline is a great brand and their products are awesome, their foundations are great as are their lipsticks and lip glosses. I have bought one of their mascaras before, I  tried Maybelline Big Great Lash Mascara and it is a good mascara, I have bought it at least three times.

Illamasqua Glamore lipstick - Starkers

A while ago I got an Illamasqua lipstick in the Glamour Beauty Edit box this Summer which was one of the reasons I decided to go for the box in the first place. I wrote my first impressions in my blog post about the Glamour box but I also wanted to do a proper review on the product now that I have been using it so much.

The Glamore lipstick range from Illamasqua is one of my favourites, I love all the shades and one of the best things about them as they suit most people. I really want to add a few more to my collection, I really like 'Tease', 'Rosepout' and 'Minx'. There are nude shades in the collection, along with a few red and pink coloured lipsticks. I also really like Illamasqua's Once.. range and the lip glosses look amazing!!

I was so happy that I got the shade 'Starkers' and liked it as soon as I saw it. They choose the perfect range to be included in the Glamour Box! :) It's a lovely shade, that is a slightly dark nude and goes with most outfits! It is perfect for work or university and also for a night out. I love lipsticks that you can wear anytime and not just for clubbing or a special occasion. It's a stunning shade and lasts for a long time, it also helps hydrate my lips!

It's such a renowned and popular brand, which is why Illamasqua is so expensive! The lipsticks from the Glamore range cost £18.50, which is a bit steep for a lipstick, however, if you want a good quality lipstick then Illamasqua is worth it. It is in my top 10 favourite lipsticks and I hope to try more from Illamasqua in the future.

Benefit benebalm

Benefit is one of my favourite brands, I love their products! Benefit's They're Real mascara, the Porefessional and Majorette blusher are amazing and  are apart of my daily makeup routine. I have wanted to get my hands on one of their lip balms for a while now but the price is a bit off putting. The hydrating lip balms cost £14.50 and is a bit expensive for a lip balm but Benefit is a good quality makeup brand so I get why their prices are higher than others.

I really like the look of the posiebalm and chachabalm, and would like a Benefit gift set with one of them in it! :)

It looks like it will make your lips look really red because the balm is really dark but it actually only adds a slight tint to your lips. I really like the slight touch of colour and it does help hydrate and soften lips.

It's a really good lip balm and does a good job!! I would definitely recommend it to a friend!

Advice for Freshers

Going to university can be quite daunting, it's a new adventure and you are moving away from home. It's a mixture of excitement and nerves! It feels like just yesterday that I moved into halls and was scared about my course and whether I would like it. So I thought why not do a short post on my advice for freshers.

  • One of the main things I was worried about was my flatmates and what if I wouldn't get on with them. What I learnt from halls is that you cant click with everyone, so don't worry about not getting on with all your flatmates. You might only be close to maybe just two of them, everyone is different and you might have nothing in common with them. You will make plenty of friends on your course, assignments and stressing out bonds you haha.

  • Also I would recommend signing up to as many clubs and societies as you can in freshers. You don't have to go to everything and will probably forget about half of them. Societies are a great way to make new friends, plus socials are always fun. I was too overwhelmed with my course in first year and scared of not doing well that I didn't join any. Second year gets a lot busier and harder, plus it counts. So have as much fun as you can in first year.

  • Don't worry if you don't do as well as you wanted in first year, you only need 40% to pass into second year! Adapting to university can be quite hard and some people struggle with assignments/exams. I know you are paying a lot of money to be at university but it isn't the end of the world if you don't get a 2:1 or a first, your first year does not count towards your degree.

  • Try to budget your money, I know quite a few people who once they get their loan in spend it all at once. Try to keep track of what you need to pay for, make a list and assign an amount to each bit, i.e rent, food, bills (if you aren't living in halls), mobile phone bill etc... That's what the uni suggested to do when I was visiting them all. Just keep track of what money you have and keep in mind when the next loan instalment comes in.

Just have fun, enjoy yourself! University is an amazing experience and it goes so quickly, I can't believe I am in final year!! Go out as much as you can in first year and just make the most of it really!!

Kelly Brook Stone Lana Eyeshadow Quad

Sorry I haven't been able to blog for a while it's because I have been on work experience at Hope FM in Bournemouth. It's been a hectic week as I had my friend staying with me, as we were both doing work experience at the same time and have been talking each others ears off. We were wondering around town in Bournemouth before going to watch If I Stay as we had some time to kill and we thought why not wonder around the shops. I swear it is impossible to not buy anything and I always buy makeup of some sort.

When in New Look, I spotted Kelly Brook's makeup products and I have actually bought an eyeshadow from her range before and loved it. I picked up Kelly Brook Stone Lana Eyeshadow Quad as it is natural shades and perfect to wear during the day.

I love the colours, they are so subtle even though they have a slight tint of glitter in them. It adds a natural touch to your eyes and it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. At only £2.99 it is a bargain and I will definitely be trying more.

At the heart of veganism

Everybody wants a celebrity body and we are always trying to find out the secret to their diet. Who doesn’t want to look as amazing as Lea Michele? There’s a reason why some A-list celebrities always look so healthy and it’s not just because of their personal trainers. A vegan diet is the key to many of Hollywood’s’ stars weight loss, even Beyoncé and Jay Z recently jumped on the bandwagon and went on a vegan challenge. With studies showing that a low-carb vegan diet leads to more weight loss, it’s no wonder so many people are following the diet. But is it really good for your health?

Kamil and Ewelina Obrebski have been vegan for 15 and 10 years respectively for ethical reasons and find that the social aspect of eating out is very difficult and restricting. They were frustrated with the lack of restaurants that offer wholly vegan meals, so much so that they decided to open their own vegan lounge, Mad Cucumber. It is the only 100% vegan bistro in Bournemouth and has a nice ‘green’ feel to it, filled with funny portraits of vegetables and lots of delicious looking food, it has a welcoming and happy atmosphere which is due to its devoted owners. Kamil found that it was so difficult to eat out in a restaurant that they gave up trying. “Even if you specify that you want a vegan salad or something like that, it might have chicken in there by mistake but it has happened a few times,” he says.

Both Kamil and Ewelina didn’t feel any different after turning vegan, they maintained the same weight as before and didn’t notice any health benefits. “Whenever I had something to eat, prior to the vegan change, I felt that sometimes the meals were pretty heavy and then you don’t want to do anything and you feel half asleep,” he explains. A vegan diet can be good for your health depending on the individual, it can be beneficial for some, however, not everyone will lose weight or feel lighter.

Vegan diets are gaining popularity in the news with many celebrities following them and crediting their weight loss to it, with the support of stars like Jared Leto, Olivia Wilde, Lea Michele, Brad Pitt and Alicia Silverstone, it’s no wonder it has gained such interest. Last year Beyoncé and Jay-Z embarked on a 22 day vegan challenge and lost a combined weight of 110 pounds.

Vegan challenges allow you test the waters to see if you want to commit to that diet or if it has any benefits for you. The 21-day Vegan Kickstart is for anyone wanting to explore the health benefits of a vegan diet. It is a free program that people can use from the privacy and comfort of their own home. They have nutrition webcasts, cooking demonstrations, three week menus, grocery lists and a community forum. It originated in the U.S. and is now international, it has had over 330,000 users and will be celebrating its fourth anniversary this year.

Jill Eckart is the nutrition program manager at the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) and oversees the management of the 21-Day Kickstart programs. Jill explains there are a whole host of benefits that you are going to get when eating a vegan diet that science is telling us. “Our Kickstart participants tell us that they feel better, lighter, have more energy, they start to lose weight, usually people lose about a pound a week on this diet,” she says.

There is growing scientific evidence that veganism is a smarter way of living. Studies have shown that vegetarians and vegans do better in terms of their risk for chronic disease. Veganism can reduce the risk of colorectal cancer which is strongly linked to red and processed meat. It is also one of the best diets to combat obesity and demonstrates lower risk factors associated with cardiac disease.

But is a vegan diet healthier than diets which include meat or dairy? Those who begin a vegan diet must take into account that they will lack essential nutrients which one would normally get from meat or dairy. Individuals can be at risk of not getting enough calcium, vitamin D, protein, Vitamin B12, zinc and iron in their diets. Jo Travers, who is a nutritionist at The London Nutritionist believes it’s harder to get all the nutrients you need from a vegan diet and have to make an effort to get them elsewhere. “You must know how to combine different sources of plant protein in order to get the complete range of amino acids (meat and animal proteins such as eggs and dairy tend to have them all). Without the complete range, the body won't be able to make new proteins such as hormones and enzymes,” she explains. Eating a healthy balanced diet is good for a person’s health and if done properly this can be achieved from a vegan diet. However, Jo emphasizes that it is not safe to feed an infant the diet as it is too high in fibre and won't provide enough energy.

The increasing evidence of studies are telling people that eating lots of fruit and vegetables and less fatty foods is better for a persons’ health, so is a vegan diet better than a vegetarian one? Both diets tend to be high in fibre and low in saturated fat. In comparison to vegans, vegetarians don’t need to take any B12 or amino supplements since they eat dairy products, however, vegan diets minimizes the risk of food allergies and intolerance from allergens like shellfish, eggs and dairy. Veronika Powell works as a campaigner for Viva! and Viva! Health, and thinks that a vegan diet is better than a vegetarian one because it cuts out dairy. “Most of the world’s population is lactose intolerant to some degree and even though we have been told we need milk, for many people it doesn’t just cause digestive problems but it contributes to acne,” she expands.

The appeal of being vegan is slowly increasing, especially with celebrities flaunting their weight loss from the diet, but it doesn’t suit everyone. Some people see no health benefits or change whatsoever, as each individual is different and will react differently. Despite that it can help in the prevention of many diseases and if done properly by maintaining a healthy well balanced diet there will be no risks.

London <3

I always love going to London, it is such a beautiful place and I always have the best time there. I would definitely want to live in London at some point and would love to work for a magazine there, Cosmopolitan is my dream.

My friend Amber and I went to London yesterday (Tuesday 2 September) to do some shopping and visit some of the sights. I love walking around London, there are so many wonderful places and I took so many photos!!

We first went to Kensington Garden, which is just lovely to walk around and I have wanted to see the Peter Pan Statue for ages!! Peter Pan was one of my favourite films as a child and it still is. I love the statue and there were lots of people taking pictures of it, I can't believe it has been there since 1912.

Whilst at Kensington Gardens we also went to see Kensington Palace where Queen Victoria lived before she was queen, the gardens are stunning and it is such a nice area!

There is also a nice statue of Queen Victoria in front of the palace, it is such a big building and it would be nice to see the inside of the building!

We then visited the Victoria & Albert museum, the history museum and the British museum. I always like going round the V & A, because I love the fashion section. The dresses are gorgeous and there was one in particular that I adored!! It looks like a dress fit for a princess and the glitter is so pretty!! :)

There was also a cool exhibition on, I think it was in the history museum. We saw so much that it tends to blend all together, so many places haha. But it was quite different and really stood out, there were so many different messages.

There is an amazing quote on the Tiki Love Truck, it said "You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one" and I think it is so true!

We also went for a lovely walk by Big Ben, the London Eye and Westminster Abbey. I really want to go on the London Eye at some point but it always has a massive queue which seems to be never ending.

We finished off the day by doing a little bit of shopping in Oxford Street. The Topshop there is amazing and so big, it's magical and you ould easily get lost in there! We also did the Topshop photo booth which was fun, however, we didn't realise that it sarted taking photos straight away so the first picture is of us completely unprepared haha. We finished off with going into Hamleys which is awesome and has so many floors, it's a kids paradise and there was real life lego sized models of Kate and Williams wedding. The sweet section of Hamleys was amazing, so many sweets!!! A little bit overpriced but awesome nonetheless! :) Had such a lovely time in London and cannot wait to see it decorated at Christmas, it's so beautiful when all the lights are up!

September fashion wish list

So I have already found quite a few clothing items that I would like and that are stunning!! Shops really need to stop designing such pretty clothes, being a student is really tough!!

Miss Selfridge Nude Colour Block Clutch

I have wanted a new clutch bag for ages and this one looks gorgeous!!! I'm really into all things pink at the moment and recently got a pink bag from Topshop which I adore!! This clutch bag is lush and is definitely number 1 on my wish list! :)

Miss Selfridge Pale Aztec Scarf

I love Aztec patterns they are so cool and I love the blue/grey colours in the scarf. I know its not winter yet but best be prepared, plus any excuse to go shopping.

River Island Light pink leather-look mini skirt

This skirt is gorgeous and costs only £25!! My friend has this skirt and I love it, as soon as I saw it I knew it is a must have. River Island has it in a variety of different colours, I quite like the pale blue version but not sure which one I prefer.

River Island Black block heel Chelsea boots

Perfect pair of simple black boots which would go with any outfit! I think simple black boots are always a good purchase and hard to go wrong with.

Topshop MOTO Denim Borg Western Jacket

Topshop had similar denim jackets last year and I wanted one but by the time I had the money they were sold out. So even if I don't get it this month hopefully next, I don't have a denim jacket and love my housemates, she has a similar one and it is so comfy! :)

Topshop Flower Beaded Crop Tee

This top is gorgeous and is so pretty!!! I love it and would be perfect for day or night!! I think it is very elegant but it is a bit expensive, its nearly £40 but no pain no gain and this would definitely hurt my bank account! :(

Missguided Kelsey Crochet Insert Midi Dress White

This is so pretty and elegant!! £29.99 is not bad for a dress, every woman needs one beautiful dress or ten or even twenty... :)

What's on your September fashion wish lists? Anything that has already caught your eyes?

August 2014 empties

It feels like the Summer has come and gone so fast, as with it the good weather although August hasn't been that sunny or hot unfortunately. :( I seem to be finishing a lot of products recently or am near the end of quite a few and they all have a tiny bit left, usually I only finish one of two items a month which is why I have never done an empties post before. So here are my August empties:

Neutrogena pink grapefruit daily scrub

I recently did a review on this product so I won't harper on too much, but it is an amazing product! One that I have bought more than once and will continue to repurchase!! The scrub has pigments in it which helps cleanse your face and make it feel soft! I give it a 5/5 and would recommend it as it is one of the best scrubs I have tried.

Garnier Moisture Match normal to dry skin

I usually buy the dry to very dry skin Moisture Match (the pink tube one) which is a thicker cream and is really good if you suffer badly from dry skin. I decided to try the normal to dry skin Moisture Match (the blue one) just for a change really and it is equally just as good, the cream isn't as thick and is slightly more liquid. It is a nice and refreshing moisturiser and I would definitely repurchase it. I give it a 5/5!! :)

Wella Professionals Wet Perfect Setting Blow Dry Lotion

I got a Wella gift set last Christmas and this is one of the products, I love the smell of all the Wella Professionals products and they are good. It does make my hair softer but there are other cheaper products out there that do the same trick. I give it a 3.5/5 and it is good but I wouldn't buy it again.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot Stress Control 3-in-1 Daily Cleansing Lotion

At £3.99 it is a bargain price for a cleansing lotion and is really good at removing impurities and dirt.  It also removes excess oil and shine, however, I found that it didn't really help clear spots. Overall I would give it a 4/5 and would get it again because it is really good at cleansing your face and leaves you with a nice fresh feeling. :)

Maybelline Foundation Dream Pure BB Cream

I love Maybelline products and I had been wanting to try a BB cream so I went with a Maybelline one. I accidentally bought the medium one instead of the light one, so it was a little bit too dark for my skin tone. I did buy the light one a while ago and it is a good product but it isn't that great at concealing imperfections or spots. You would definitely need to use something else as well! I give it a 3/5 but wouldn't buy it again, I would try other BB creams to see what is out there!
