Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments

Hello lovelies, I hope you are enjoying your time off and are getting to spend time with your loved ones. A couple of weeks ago I treated myself to Fresh' Sugar Lip Balm gift set and am absolutely in love with them. I have wanted to try Fresh products for ages but I thought they were only available in the US, when I found out we had shops here in the UK I went to explore their products. I spent a good 30 minutes in the shop trying to decide what to buy and opted for their biggest lip balm gift set. The beauty geek in me loves this time of year and all of the beauty Christmas gift sets; it is the perfect time to try out new brands as you get so much more for your money.

Included in the set was a Sugar Lip Treatment, a Sugar Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy and 7 Sugar Tinted Lip Treatments. The shades of the the tinted lip balms in the set are Plum, Coral, Honey, Rose, Cherry, Tulip and Passion. There also exists 5 more that weren't included in the gift set: Ruby, Berry, Petal, Fig and Nude. They are all miniature versions of the lip balms and the full size products are actually quite bigger. It is safe to say I am hooked and have found my new favourite lip balms.

Product description: Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 moisturizes, protects, and smoothes the lips with an exclusive blend of moisture-preserving sugar, nourishing precious oils, antioxidant-rich polyphenols, and essential SPF protection. Fresh’s best-seller, Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 is proven to provide 6 hours of significant moisture for soft, supple lips. Its sublime texture and addictive citrus flavor make it positively irresistible.

Winter is one of the worst times of the year, it wrecks havoc on our skin and lips are one of the main areas that are affected. Cracked lips are one of the pitfalls of winter, the changing temperatures this year have not been kind on my lips, and even my go to lip balms like EOS and Palmers haven't been doing the trick. I love my Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments, they are amazing and have been doing wonders to my lips, they haven't felt this soft in ages.

The lovely lady in the Fresh shop recommended that the Sugar Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy be used as an overnight lip balm, in order for lips to absorb the moisture and repair themselves during the night. I have been using it for over a couple of weeks now and my lips feel so much healthier. It has also been my go to lip balm during the day, when I don't want any colour and just want hydrated lips.

The 7 Tinted Lip Treatments (Cherry, Honey, Coral, Tulip, Rose, Passion, Plum) that I own are fantastic and I adore the shades. They choose very well in including the balms in the gift set, there are a variety of shades and I love the different tints of colour to my lips. My favourite colours are Plum, Rose and Cherry, they give my lips a beautiful boost of colour which lasts.

All of their lip balms also contain SPF protection, which means they are just as useful in Summer as in Winter. The texture of the Lip Treatment is light and easily glides on, keeping your lips supple, hydrated and soft. It doesn't clump on your lips or come across as a thick texture; it simply gives you a natural plumped pout.

If you have read my blog, you will know that unscented lip products is one of my beauty pet peeves and these smell absolutely divine. The lip balms have a lovely sweet citrus flavour to them, my lips feels refreshed and the scent is heavenly. They do cost £18, which is a little bit steep for a lip balm but they are well worth the price and is my best beauty discovery this year!

I have used lip balms so much in the short time I have had them and can see myself repurchasing many of them once I run out. I cannot wait to try out more from Fresh, they have so many amazing products and will be trying out some from their skincare range next.

  3. I love this collection - it looks so pretty! I saw these when I went to New York but for some reason decided not to pick any up and wish I had now. I really suffer with dry lips in Winter and after reading your review I think these lip balms would be great for me xx
