February Wish List

I have been lusting over quite a few beauty products for a while now, but alas Christmas and a three month internship have left my funds seriously low. This has lead to an ongoing spending ban with the exception of essential makeup items that I have ran out of, it has been two months and it is safe to say I am very proud of myself. It hasn't stopped me from endlessly browsing the internet for makeup and wishing for everything that I have come across. There are just too many good beauty products out there and unfortunately you just can't have it all.

I haven't done a wishlist in a very long time so thought I may as well put my online window shopping to good use and turn it into something more interesting. If I could have any 12 beauty products right now, these are the ones I would choose and trust me it was a tough call narrowing it down.

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation - £29
Too Faced is one of my all time favourite brands, I love their products and packaging. There is just something about the brand that draws you in and it has a fun filled vibe to it. If I had to choose only 10 makeup brands to use for the rest of my life, Too Faced would definitely be one of them. I am a big fan of their lip products, but have yet to branch out into their face ones and have been itching to get my hands of the Born This Way Foundation since it launched. I have heard many good things about it and the most important being that it provides flawless coverage.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Balm Perfector - £18
I absolutely love Clarins and my love for their products has only grown stronger since my Clarins Christmas calendar. My first Clarins purchase was their Rose lip balm and it is amazing, it was love at first sight. They smell like candy and are almost good enough to eat, it adds the perfect tint of colour whilst keeping your lips hydrated. I really want to add the 5 other shades (Coral, My Pink, Orange, Red and Rosewood) to my collection.

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow - £49
This contour palette is so pretty, I know it is not logical to base a purchase on its appearance but just look at it! I know I am a little bit behind on the contouring bandwagon, we have now moved onto strobbing and I am sure their is probably another face trend that I don't even know about. I have recently really gotten into my contouring and this set is on a completely different level. It looks just as beautiful in real life as it does on screen and I have yet to hear a bad word about it.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Blush Edition Eau De Toilette - £54
There is an 80% chance I may have added this to my list because of the packaging again. I have the original Daisy Dream and love it. Cute packaging, great scent and lasts all day; what more could a gal want. When I saw the Blush edition on Instagram the other day, I was imagining the ideal place for it in my bedroom. I am looking forward to going into town to check it out in Debenhams and see if it smells half as good as its predecessor.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Powder - £12
I am a big fan of Soap & Glory, they have good quality products and don't cost an arm and a leg. I have used their skin and body care products for years now, but only recently purchased their primer and foundation when I ran out in January. I bought the One Heck of a Blot primer and foundation, I was so pleased with the results that I instantly wanted the powder too but cannot justify it as my current mattifying powder is still going strong. Maybe I might accidentally drop it and then I would have to get the Soap & Glory one...

Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita Lip Kit - £49
Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are the holy grail of lipsticks, the pigmentation is incredible and long lasting. They also smell divine, heavenly even and love the vanilla scent on my lips. My first purchase was 'Bitch Perfect' and it was love at first swatch, the hype is definitely not exaggerated. Whilst I have tried their lipsticks, their lip liners and lip glosses have yet to make a way into my lip collection storage. One of my best friends has the set and raved about it, it looked so nice on and has made me want it ever since.

Charlotte Tilbury Date Duo - £42
As seen above, Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are one of my all-time favourites. Charlotte Tilbury's new lipsticks look beautiful and they truly would be the perfect date duo. The Matte Revolution - Between The Sheets is a dreamy light pink shade, which would be ideal for a daytime date. Then you can switch it up at night with the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. lipstick in Kiss Chase. It is a lust worthy berry colour that helps define your lips and finishes off your date night look with a sexy colour.

Too Faced Natural Eye Shadow Collection - £32
I have a thing for eye shadow sets and when I say 'thing' I mean a full blown obsession. I have enough eye shadow sets to last me a good decade or so, but I am a sucker for pretty packaging and I love options. Especially since most of my eye shadow palettes are nude ones, I don't technically "need" it but you can never have too many nude shades right?! I have had this one on my birthday/christmas list for a good two years, so I think that means I will have to give up the hope my family will get it for me and just buy it myself. It contains nine beautiful neutral shades that will suit any skin tone and good for any time of the day.

Benefit POREfessional Matte Rescue Primer Gel - £21.50
Benefit's original POREfessional is a god send and helps provide a flawless makeup base, I could not find a single fault in it. When Benefit announced they were releasing a matte version of it, I was so excited and it has been on my radar ever since. I personally prefer a matte makeup look, but generally use a powder to achieve this. I am very interested to see if the primer will have the same affect as a powder or be even better.

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Leave in Treatment - £11.99
Five years ago, I made the mistake of cutting my hair significantly short and it has taken me a very long time to get it long again, without a copious amounts of dead ends. A friend recommended that I try Lee Stafford's Hair Growth range and I invested in the shampoo, conditioner and mask. I really wanted to buy the Leave in Treatment too, but unfortunately my bank account would not have agreed with it. The box full of hair treatment products at home was another reason that I could not justify buying it, so I need to hurry up and get through my current stash.

Benefit Operation Pore Proof Gift Set - £28.50
Benefit minis are so cute and their gift sets are fantastic value for money, I have had a couple in the past and loved everything in them. Gift sets are also a great way to try out new cosmetics without having to purchase a full size product for the same price and you get to test more than one. The POREfessional primer in the set is the best primer I have ever tried, I have yet to find a primer that can knock it off the pedestal it is on in my head. I want to expand my collection of Benefit pore products and this would be the best way to test the waters.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash - £6.50
Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush body products are heavenly and leave my skin feeling/smelling amazing! Soap & Glory has become a staple in my household and my mum is just as addicted to them as I am, I'm not sure which one of us has more products mum or me. Our collections combined would probably equal to well over 30 items. I haven't had any Sugar Crush items in a while and really need to stock my collection back up again.

What is on your February lust list? Have you tried any of the products above?
xx
