Too Faced Melted Lipsticks

Too Faced is one of my all time favourite brands and their lipsticks are the holy grail. I discovered Too Faced cosmetics nearly two years ago and have been hooked on them ever since, my collection is slowly growing and I now own a fair amount from them! Too Faced's packaging is adorable and cute, their products are the perfect gift for a friend or a pick me up treat for yourself.

Last Christmas I was a very lucky girl and got lots of beauty products, one of which was a Too Faced gift set. It consisted of four miniature versions of the Melted Lipsticks (two normal and two metallic). One of my favourite things about Christmas is gift sets as I discover so many amazing brands and get to try out a variety from their range in one prettly wrapped gift set.

Chihuahua, Berry, Metallic Peony, Metallic Macaron
The Too Faced Melted lipsticks caught my attention as soon as I discovered the brand and the packaging is so pretty. There is just something about them that looks better than your average lip gloss/lipstick, the whole range is just stunning. I hadn't tried any liquified lipsticks before and was interested to see if it truly is like a normal lipstick. They are exactly the same as a regular lipstick and I could hands down not tell the difference if presented with both.

The quality and pigmentation of the liquid lipsticks is amazing, it lasts all day and looks just as good in the evening as it did in the morning. I was beyond impressed that the colour looks exactly the same as the shade on the packaging. There is nothing worse than spending money on a lipstick or any beauty product for that matter, then it being completely different to what you wanted or how the product looked. You get exactly what you pay for with the lovely Too Faced Melted liquid lipsticks, great durability and luscious looking lips.

Too Faced's Melted Lipsticks also smell incredible, they have a fruity berry fragrance to them and leave your lips feeling oh so soft. I love that all of the Too Faced range has a heavenly scent to it and that is a bonus in my book.

Too Faced Melted Lipstick - Chihuahua and Berry

It was love at first sight with the Chihuahua shade and is my favourite in the set. I use it all the time and I will definitely repurchase it once it is empty, it was on my wish list before I even got the gift set. It is more of a pinky-brown-nude colour than just a pink one, which is probably why it is my favourite as I love all nude lipsticks. It is the perfect lipstick for any time of the day and if you want bolder lips for a night out then simply touch it up with some lip liner.

As said above, I do love nude lipsticks and my lipstick collection mainly consists of that shade but I also own quite a few berry ones. I often like to pair a berry lipstick with a white or light top, as it goes better with my complexion. Berry coloured lip products also really bring out the blue in my eyes and make them seem even lighter. I know berry shades are traditionally more of an autumn colour, but I will definitely be wearing it all year round and am in love with it.

Too Faced Melted Metal Lipstick - Peony and Macaron

As you can tell from my blog name, I love glitter and anything with a sparkle in it is a lust worthy item in my book. The Melted Metal Metallic Lipsticks add a beautiful shine to your lips and provide a burst of long lasting colour. The rich and glazed lipsticks will revamp your look and enhance your lips, making a bold statement. There are eight beautiful eye catching colours ranging from dazzling pinks, bold purples and glittery corals. The shades included in the set were two pink ones: a light rosy pink, Peony and a daring bright pink, Macaron.

Peony is my favourite lipstick out of the two, it is a beautiful subtle glittery pink that is suitable for any time of the day. The iridescent light pink brings out the blue in my eyes and goes well with my pale skin tone. It is the perfect shade for any time of the day, be it for a lunch date with the girls or a night out on the town. Peony is such a versatile colour that would look great on anyone and enhances your natural lip colour with a slight sparkle to it.

Macaron is probably the least me shade in the set, as bright pinks aren't the most flattering colours on me due to my pale complexion. I would probably wear it on a night out but it is definitely way too bright on me for a daytime look.

Next on my must have list is their Melted Chocolate Lipsticks, I love nude lipsticks as many of my friends can tell you or if you simply looked in my makeup draws. I really want to try Chocolate Milkshake, Chocolate Honey, Metallic Chocolate Diamonds and Frozen Hot Chocolate. They all look so pretty and would suit any skin tone, very flattering! My Too Faced wish list is endless, they just have too many great products and there isn't anything on their website that I wouldn't buy.
