Everyday Makeup Essentials

Everyone has essential beauty products they can't go a day without, even as a beauty addict there are some products I can't imagine not having in my beauty bag, and repurchase them time and time again.

Here are my favourite 8 everyday makeup essentials that I am loving at the moment:

Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub (£5.75)
Winter is one of the worst times of the year for my lips, they go really dry and no matter what I seemed to do helped them. Last year, a friend of mine recommended buying a lip scrub to help remove dead skin and then using a lip balm to hydrate them. When I was looking for a good lip scrub, Lush was the most popular one coming up and I decided to give it a go. I haven't looked back since, I have repurchased the Lush Popcorn Lip Scrubs more times than I can count and it leaves my lips feeling so smooth. The best part of the scrub is that you can lick it off, no muss no fuss.

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara (£9.95)
Benefit is a brand we all use and love, I have been using it ever since my housemate let me borrow her They're Real mascara which is still one of the best mascaras I have ever owned. When Benefit released Roller Lash, I got my hands on it as soon as I could and have repurchased it a couple of times since. The brush is amazing and I love that it curls my lashes without clumping them up.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Limited Edition Makeup Set - Surreal Light (£69)
I may have a slight obsession with pretty makeup palettes and my reasoning behind buying this one may have had something to do with the marble packaging. However, I have become obsessed with the pigmentation and how stunning the colours look on my skin.

L'Oreal Paris True Match Foundation (£9.99)
With some of my makeup I'm quite easy-going and find products really easily, however, when it comes to foundation I struggle to find one I like and that actually looks nice on. There has been quite a lot of hype around the L'Oreal Paris True Match Foundation and especially with the massive campaign I was slightly dubious about trying it. It turns out that the hype is very well earned and the product is amazing!! The True Match Foundation goes on like a dream and easily blends into your skin, plus it won't cost you an arm and a leg to buy it.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Powder (£12)
You may or may have not seen on my Instagram that I have a slight obsession with Soap & Glory, their One Heck of a Blot Powder is the holy grail of my makeup bag and I have been using it for over a year now. I honestly don't know what I would even use if they discontinued it! It sets my makeup perfectly and adds a lovely matte finish.

Collection Lasting Perfect Concealer (£4.19)
No matter what concealer I have tried it has always paled in comparison to Collection's. It is simply amazing and no high end one has even come close, Clinique, Clarins and Charlotte Tilbury you name it I have tried it... Collection's Concealer is my all-time favourite and is very affordable.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Balm Perfector (£18.50)
The Clarins Lip Balm Perfector in Rose was my first Clarins purchase and I became obsessed with the brand after that. The Clarins Lip Balms smell like candy floss and hydrate your lips with a tint of colour. I don't like lip products without fragrances and these are too sweet to resist, you can never have too many of them in your collection!

Smashbox Trio Eyeshadow (available in the Try It Kit: Bestsellers)
For my birthday, one of my friends bough me a Smashbox starter kit and this was one of the little gems in the set. It is a trio eyeshadow of nude shades and is perfect for a subtle for a natural smokey eye or even everyday look. I've nearly used up all of it and I need to look into investing in a bigger palette as I love the colours.

What are your everyday makeup essentials? Have you tried any of the above? x
